Wir kennen uns schon eine halbe Ewigkeit und spielen z.B. bei den Jivecats zusammen. Nun haben Gerold Kukulenz und ich mit gelegentlichen Studio-Kollaborationen angefangen. Los ging es anlässlich seines Soloalbums ‚Step Outside‘ 2022, zu dem ich für das Stück ‚The Baltic Sea‘ Gitarrenparts beisteuern durfte. Es folgten dieses Jahr mit den Stücken ‚Verano Sin Fin‘, ‚Soothing Bossa‘ ‚Contigo En La Playa‘ und ‚Cafe On The Corner‘ gemeinsam komponierte und eingespielte Singles, die sich recht gut auf den einschlägigen Streaming-Plattformen machen. Eine sechste gemeinsame Aufnahme ist gerade in Vorbereitung, das heißt, meine Gitarrenparts sind seit heute im Kasten. Auch für 2024 haben wir noch weiterhin viel vor! Farewell
After releasing three classical guitar pieces in December and January on Spotify, this very calm solo guitar instrumental is dedicated to an old friend, the late Tom Launhardt, who died much to early on June 10, 2016. That very day I had a solo concert, which went particulary well, as if a muse had blessed me. At the end I improvised over the chords which would eventually become this new piece ‚Farewell‘. Who knows, maybe he came by on his way to wherever he may be now… Of course I played it on one of of my favorite classical guitars, a Tom Launhardt Bourreé. YouTube / Spotify / Linktree
